Assistant Professor at California State University, Long Beach
Hailu Xu is a tenure-track assistant professor of Department of Computer Engineering & Computer Science at California State University, Long Beach. He received his PhD degree of Computer Science from Florida International University in Summer 2020. He obtained a master degree from the Department of EECS at the University of Toledo in Summer 2016 and bachelor degree in computer science at North China Electric Power University in the Summer 2014.
I am looking for Computer Science/Computer Engineering students to join our group. Please feel free to send me your CV and unofficial transcript to my email address. Students at CSULB can directly visit my office.
Hailu Xu's research focuses on systems with particular emphasis on AI models, distributed DL, big data processing, stream processing, Cloud and IoT. He designs and implements systems for integrating AI models, supporting efficient distributed deep learning, analyzing social streaming data, handling security issues and recovering failures in streaming systems, and processing data in the cloud and edge environment.
